When I watched the movie, I became confused as to the whole moral of the story that I started thinking the VICTIMS were assholes for not being polite. Micheal and Brady rock.

I really think Brady Corbett and Michael Pitt are talented actors and I love Funny Games. This interview isn't so bad either.
It's actually kind of funny.

Michael Pitt needs to lay off the Sean Penn persona, so serious & condescending & above it all. Get a few more years & a few more good films on your resume, then try it.

The gloves are a reference to the old-school cartoons like Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse. The old-school cartoons had extreme violence and was put across as funny.
