  • Here is an account of a real revival where young people didn't need to get "fired up" to change their culture. Everybody, young and old, experienced revival and renewal.

  • True Christianity is not about rock concerts & rock & rap stars. I attended a few Christian concerts & they're a fun way to spend your weekends - certainly better than going to bars & partying like the world - but it's not the way to give young people a TRUE sense of walking with the Lord. Why does it need to be DARK? Why do kids need to scream like DEMONS? If you study the history of revivals, you know that previous generations didn't need loud music & rock music to get right with God.

  • I hate pep rallies and motivational speakers. It gives Christianity a bad name. There are no altars in the New Covenant so giving an altar call is non-biblical.

  • @iscream22 if you are a Buddhist then perhaps you should be cautious when analyzing the principles of other belief systems.

The Bible is a Middle Eastern book, and Middle Easterners are quite expressive people. The Bible itself is full of exhortations to shout for joy and triumph, it is not a book of withdrawn and controlled individuals . It is a book of passionate and expressive souls. They tore their clothes when saddened, danced and shouted when happy etc.

Do you know what the word "gentle" means there? it is (especially in Greek) an interrelational word. It has do with being gentle TOWARD OTHER PEOPLE, loving. Someone who is loving is also humble.

You seem to be valuing qualities like "looking dignified" over the deeper MORAL values that the Bible ACTUALLY teaches.

As for the subject of dignity, maybe you need to check out the story in 2 Samuel 6:14-23 featuring David a man "after God's own heart"

  • i was there in the govenor box i love this but not as much as i love God. Freak the people who pressed the dislike button!

The population has nothing to do with it. In the first 20 years of the Spanish Inquisition about 2000 people were illed. The population allowed for slaughter of a much much greater magnitude. Millions were killed in the Inquisition but it was over a very long period of time. The inquisition aquired it's insidious reputation prior to 20th century events that make it look like a walk in the park by comparison.

  • i cant wait for this year:)) GO TEAM GOD! :)

  • Give me proof that we have a soul? How about THIS for thought, i say reincarnation is fact. Where do you think you were before this lifetime? Just floating in a eternal dark void of nothingness?
