It's been since Spring of 1979 since I saw El Duke live. This sounds just like I remember - a clever, rhythmic guitarist who builds a nice solo, enthused singer, a rock- solid beat out of his combo. While his beard has turned white, I can hear his youthfulness and love of life in his playing and singing. I gotta catch him this year.

ive seen duke many, many times. the first time i seen him, i had a broken leg and he had a 103 degree temp. whenever he comes to town i see him. he still remembers my name to this day. cool dude
