A little tune written by me and played and recorded through a pod xt, hence the silly title. Main riff changes slightly towards the end to recreate a couple of well known themes from a legend!

Click here to hear this in stereo.... MUCH BETTER SOUND QUALITY. YOU CAN REALLY HEAR THE POD AT ITS BEST!!

  • hi Ian, this was very nice, i would to ask you some things (it could be sound as ignorance for some people) i need an audio interface (soundcard) to make this run into my computer?, also i'm a beginner and i have always use my pedals plugged into my amp (a vox vt15 with some modeling amps) would like to know how does this thing work... i mean i don't need an amp? and i just plug it into the speakers or they just work as a line of pedals when plugged into an amp? i'm planning to get this thanks

  • @ivncdo0809

Hey dude, yes that's right, you just plug straight into your pc from the pod xt, and it will play through the computer speakers. I didn't use any extra equipment at all, just the pod xt, recorded direct into the computer.

  • Ive heard that the pod xt has its own soundcard, does the xt pro also have that? what out/in are u using to record with? usb? and what about the latency.. someone please help me with these questions i dont know if its gonna be an xt pro or just an xt..

  • @mikkelofdoom

Well, I think they're very similiar in terms of the internal sound card so I would guess the latency etc is probably the same. But.... I don't actually use the usb to record, i just use the audio line outs which go straight into my pc soundcard. Easy as that!! So, up to you.

  • I have just got an Pod XT used, I have some questions:

1.)How can I get the tone in the video? Do I need any kind of software? It seems like it!

2.) And are there any free pod XT software programs?

  • @andreasbn

If you go on line6 website you can download all the relavant software for it. and if you want tones then you can find mine and lots of others on the custome tone website.

    Rock :)
