I would really like to see how you made this one, maybe in the future you could do a tutorial on how to make one of these. Really cool creation you have there.

Very cool! It's kind of like Bo Diddley meets Steinberger meets Home Depot.

Good job man. You should be proud of that. Have you seen some of the basses made by Wishbass? ....some of those are an abomination (not all of 'em of course).

wow! what type of wood do you use? ^_^

@hentajus These are plain old Douglas Fir 2x4s. If I did this again, I would include a truss rod, carbon fiber, or rod of some sort. The Dougals Fir is not really strong enough, it is starting to bow a little. See my other contraption on here, the headless 8 string acoustic.

LOL how many splinters did you get building that?!!!!! It sounds pretty good from here!!

@thegreatwavetattoo Thanks ! No splinters on this one. Wenge gives me splinters, though.

Rofl, and the best thing is that it doesn't even sound too bad xD
But honestly, how much did the parts cost you totally? I've been wanting to try fretless bass for a while, and that thing there looks like an insanely good option....

Thanks ! The wood is just a 2x4, so maybe $8. Strings $35. Pickup $50. Uncle Bob Bridge parts $10. 1/4 inch jack 5$. So about $110. Since I made it, the neck is starting to bow a little. So you may want to add a truss rod or carbon fiber.
