I love this Bavarian schuhplatter, the kids are great' Why do people have to make nasty comments about other cultures, just enjoy and learn and if its not your cup of tea buzz off! I love German culture and German folkdancing especially the dances from the Tyrol or Bavaria, so keep those videos coming, greeting from Texas

@windstorm1000 heh--alright! finally met a fellow Wisconsite here--I knew I would. Yes, this is one of the BIG crowdpleaser dances at the Folk Fair and elsewhere. And the FF is indeed one of the best in the world. I'm very proud to have been part of it years ago. I live in NM, and I really, really miss it and all the German dancing......:(

I agree with lactose009 - I really enjoy the German & Polka dancing and it's not my heritage. Wonderful to see kids anywhere learning and enjoying music of their heritage.  Anyone for Cotton Eyed Joe or Texas Two Step?

it sure is a crowd please dance--the boys have to be very athletic and the girls need to close their eyes otherwise they'd get dizzy. this dance/song was often played at the wonderful Holiday Folk Fair in Milwaukee. Its one of the best folk fairs in the world. Please go everyone--weekend before Thanksgiving.
