dodge/chrysler transmissions of that era are SHIT. trust me...i had a chrysler LHS, never drove it hard, and i certainly never did that abusive pop it into drive while you are still moving backwards shit, and the tranny went at 117k miles without any warning just like that... what a piece of shit.

I 100% agree - I ;ve had 3 ov them and I own two right now, all ov them replaced tranny.

3.0L for sure needs a tranny out of the factory and 3.3L for some reason failed and 3.8L got stuck to 2end gear wouldn't pass it at all, so had to replace that and now I'm seeing this and wondering why do people destroy them on purpose they one of the nicest vans in its class even better than the new ones.........
