I have one question: does anybody know how the POD HD sounds on a drive channel of my amp? I mean if I'd just like to boost the gain or add some other efects...

@boorak18 without telling us what kind of amp you have that's a tough question but that's pretty much exactly what the POD is supposed to be used for. It's very flexible in that you don't HAVE to use any amp modeling on it. You can simply create a tone with a distortion stomp or even a boost+EQ effect.

The pod hd pro sound fantastic but it will not be able to use it with my ground control and my expression pedals :(

I hated this thing when I first bought it along with my PRS McCarty and Vox AC 15. I must say, however, I LOVE this thing now. Anyone who likes tone and loves vintage and expensive amps, but can't afford the money or, for me, space it takes to own them all....go with this product. I'm a tone brat. I played a Schecter 80s model, thru a Fender Bassman head before I switched to PRS, Vox and...most importantly Line 6...keep up the good work. I wish I had given your amps more consideration.

Couple days ago new POD HD firmware 1.20 appeared, awesome firmware, i'm so glad, sounds MUCH better then old one!

I think using the HD buzz word will put a lot of people off. It's so easy to say something's better by dubbing it HD. I'm not arsed though, mine arrives next week.
