"Cryin' For The Carolines"
(1930) Fox-Trot
Waring's Pennsylvanians
From the All-Talking Vitaphone Picture: "Spring Is Here"
Victor Orthophonic 22272
Since Fred Waring has been declared a "jazz" musician by some of today's collectors his recordings are all readily available while others (such as Nat Shilkret and Bob Haring) are denigrated as sweet or dance music...and ignored.
For that reason, this is probably the only Fred Waring recording I will be posting.. It is my favorite of his recordings.

Don't know why you wouldn't post any other waring recordings. There are many fine ones that are not on cd (Hello Baby, Jericho, Pompanola, to name a few)although 'Carolines' is certainly wonderful. Possibly Waring is considered 'jazzier' than some others because for a while he had the same arranger as Jean Goldkette.
