Race Relations Documentary

Documentary on race relations for our Sociology 3AC Arab and European Cultural Dialogue Project. The film focuses on how Arab Americans are treated today in a post 9/11 world, with insight from students, teachers, and citizens of Berkeley. Issues covered include the UCLA taser incident, which occured only weeks before the documentary was made.

UCLA is no longer the selective college it once was. 'Here's your Patriot Act'? Four years of college instruction and this is the best our little friend can produce?

A real Patriot Act would have required immediately rounding up and deporting all non-Christian Arabs and Persians after 911. Do they have no loyalty to their own countries? Are they so ashamed of their heritage they must live and collect welfare benefits in places that have no need or understanding of them?

Everyone for themselves will ultimately lead to fascism.When people are unable to be sympathetic to another Human beeing, it clearly shows the unhumanized society you (and therefore we) are creating.

I've seen Taser webpage, and it is EVIL. In my opinion they are developing torture and violent mass-control devices. They are also developing a robot to do the tasing job...And what's worst we all are paying for it.

ucla tazers their students for not showing an ID. but, they don't make EVERY student show an ID. and why censor a library. why can't every student be in the library to read , not just who ucla selects. they select the race they want in the library. they are selective breeders. the uc system is out of control and we need to make changes. the regents are responsible.

This was the worst incident I have seen on campus. It was awful. I was passing by when this happened. Terrible.
