@DietrichGarbo With hollywood hard-heads like Dan DiDio and the now rogue Geoff Johns, DC, like Marvel are treating seasoned readers like you and I like crap. Ever since DKR and Watchmen, it seems there's been a cosmic case of "Do as I say, not as I do" (of the worst kind) when catering to mature readers and new ones.

@DietrichGarbo ...for knowing which collections to read in what order. Honestly I have a good career and disposible income. So buying those collections is not a big deal, but, for example, try figuring out where to go to get caught up with the pre-New 52 GL? It took my forever to find out where to go with it, and if I wasn't such I fan I would have given up. I hate having to go to a Batman wiki or GL wiki just to know which collections to buy.

@SuperWolsey I really respected DC for having the balls to kill a character, and I felt bring Jason back was a slap in the face; I am warmed to him in some ways. I feel that the "dark Robin" was old hat when they brought Damien around, and I keep those storylines at bay because I feel that DC will eliminate them at the first sign of the Detective Comics and Batman lines having better readership. Really I think DC could have help people like me with having a better system...

@DietrichGarbo While I've always been indifferent to Jason, it irks me that folks still treat him like crap but with Damien, it's wonderful (even with Grant Morrison at bay). To me its two decades to late to root for a dark Robin when readers couldn't appreciate the idea even before and after the Crisis happened. Mind you, this is coming from a reader who thinks Jim Starlin would've been suited for Marvel at the time with the kind of stories he wrote on the title

@SuperWolsey I geuss I was just happy that they have at least two Batman titles that to date don't have all that crap they put into it. For me it was like I went away for a couple of years and suddenly DC Comics became really complicated, and I was like what the hell happened when Dead Robin is back and the Son O' Batman is the new Robin, etc.

Personally I feel a clean start with all characters would have worked better, but I'll take what I can get I suppose.

@DietrichGarbo Yet they keep Bats and GL more or less the same. Just when I was hoping Grant Morrison's pet character would go away permanent, they still keep him as Robin *facepalm*

@DietrichGarbo So I am really torn on this one, because I really see both points on this. On the one hand I am happy to have more Batman oriented stories, and have Grifter and potentially the WildC.A.T.S. in DC, but do understand that problems of those of us who followed the stories for so long. Although I will say some series faired better than others.
