Simeon vs. Washington 2006 Chicago Public League Championship Game

February 25, 2006- Derrick Rose says "Hello World!" as Simeon High School wins their first Chicago Public League Basketball Championship in two decades with the 55-40 win over Washington. Rose was a junior who had 25 points on 11-of-13 shooting from the field along with 8 assists and 7 rebounds along with a couple of dunks and unbelieveable blocked shots. I'm so glad the internet is starting to move into that digital age where a ton of basketball games are streamed now. Simeon has had several games on ESPN. I'm going to see the current Simeon squad on Saturday in Memphis. Hoopfest is going to be a brawl of Memphis vs the top teams in the country. Gonna be awesome.
