20101031 Tumbleweed Crew in Stage 2 of the Baha Haha Rally

This was my favorite part of the three stage rally. We had just completed a very difficult 360 mile Stage 1 from San Diego to Turtle Bay where we lost our bowsprit and hobbled back to land with the help of a 47ft Catamaran called Moontide. After spending two days repairing and resting in Turtle Bay, we were ready for Stage 2, which ran 240 miles from Turtle Bay to Bahia Santa Maria. This was my favorite staget because we had "lively" winds and the seas settled down, allowing us to fly all sails, and surf big waves with this amazing boat.. We were visited by porpoise (dolphin) and squid and had an incredibly fast spinnaker (jennaker) run the last night into Bahia Santa Maria. Footage includes night shots where we had red LED lamps, which cast an eeire light.
