I agree. German tanks were vastly superior to British and American tanks at the time. But they were difficult to produce, with many of their tanks such as the King Tiger and Panther being assembled in the same amount of time it took the Allies or Russians to make ten tanks. The Panther is probably the best tank of WW2. T-34 is the most effective

this battle was actually several hours long so the fact that easy lasted that long against armor with nothing but light arms is amazing.........also i dont think german tanks would be retreating at the sight of shermans xD.......im pretty sure the 75mm on the sherman cant make that big of explosions lol

Well, I don't know what to tell you- during this battle Lt. Welsh and Pvt. McGrath ran into the open field and took out a Nazi armoured vehicle with a bazooka. Winters, Compton, Webster, Malarkey, Guarnere and Heffron all wrote books about their experiences in E-company, and I believe you can also find an account from the Nazi perspective in 'The Lions of Carentan'. I think you'll find this is pretty accurate, hard to find a tv show that is more accurate for sure.
