While I think that very well could be Joseph Smith, I wish he would paint the picture brighter and happier. Those are the sentiments I get when thinking about the Prophet Joseph Smith.

My examination came to the conclusion that Joseph Smith could not write such a book by himself, unless we considered him to be a genius. Assuming that he were so it would be a genius but of the devil and if he were we would know it by his fruits. Save by the unbelief that comes from the evil and exist in everywhere , I don´t find any evidence to say that´s not good fruits. The lds church is rescuing values of family, entices people to be peacemakers, to pray God for everything. Bad fruits? No

@FATE522 - I testify that I have read the Book of Mormon, & researched the Book of Abraham & other resources, & found overwhelming evidence that Joseph Smith was a crook, a schemer & a egomaniac. The BoM is not even close to the best or most correct book. You simply state what has been drilled into your head - the problem is that the entire LDS is built on lies. I was thrown out of the building in Salt Lake for asking where the photographs of "historical sites" were taken. What are you hiding?

@SARealtyDude "Such a person, elect or otherwise, has been deceived; and if he or she leaves this Church, it must be done by crawling over or under or around the Book of Mormon to make that exit." No wicked man could write such a book as this; and no good man would write it, unless it were true and he were commanded of God to do so."

@FATE522 I testify that Joseph Smith was a whack-job who made the whole thing up. I have done my research, been to the temple in Salt Lake and in San Antonio, and there is much evidence that he was a fake. The LDS continues to hide evidence that he was a fake... it is sad that so many believe what so much evidence has proven false.

I testify that Joseph Smith was and is a Prophet of God called to restore the Gospel and was the light in the darkness of the Great Apostasy. Through him and his faith we have the restored keys on Earth for many blessings that will benefit this life and the one hereafter. I know as a young boy he saw God The Father And Jesus Christ.
It seems that is actually a photo of Alexander Hugh Holmes Stewart - just do a Wikipedia search for his name and you'll see that photograph and other info regarding him.

@ldsconservative Yes, I saw the same thing. But some research has gone into this particular photograph that makes the Stewart and Smith photograph quite the debate. :D

This is pretty cool. Have they authenticated the picture?

@discjockeyfuture Nah. Just rumors at this point. I've written quite a bit about possible photographs of Joseph Smith. I'll put the link in the video info section in case you want to check it out.
