  • Simply amazing!

  • @AmadeuTolentino

    Gosh! Thank you! x

  • So why is it that people on low calorie diets do lose weight....because they definitely do. Ok they might not be able to maintain it, but we've all lost weight by starving our bodies.

  • @flushed1977

Sadly not enough room to do this justice! We do lose weight in the short term, but the overwhelming evidence is that this is not sustained. We can 'shock' the body into losing weight, but it adjusts so quickly & we soon get to the point where we plateau & even gain weight on a cal deficit that should lose us weight.

Eat 3000 cals/day of zero carb for a wk & then 3000 cals of entirely carb and see what happens (Kekwick 1956). WHAT we eat matters more than how much

  • @Wooblue We actually need to get healthy metabolism first befor weight lost accurs!! loosing weight does not mean automatically gaining health!! First We Raise Metabolism then we Loose Weight.. Great video by Matt Stone here on utube!!

  • @ZoeHarcombe It's rapid water loss that is the only thing that makes any different between a wholefoods, nutritious low fat eating plan and a zero carb eating plan. Fat storage doesn't weigh as much as glycogen storage. You can't class a wholefoods, high CHO diet in the same league as a processed rubbish diet which of course doesn't result in long term weight loss and health gain.

  • my friend Josh Rubin from East West healing adviced me to read that book and i really enjoyed it!! Im sure it will come usefull for your research too Zoe!! so enjoy! -:)!

  • The heating system of AnyBody does shut down when the liver is not abale to convert inactive T4 into Active T3 together with thyroid!! have u studied any thing about body temperature and paulse by Dr.Broda Barnes?for that conversion to happend stored glucose(glycogen)and glucose from foods is required and also polyunsaturated fats Must be avoided as much as possible! enjoy your reading

  • Hi Zoe I'm about to purchase your book (can't wait!) will information on exercise be on there? I'm just a bit confused on what we should for exercise and when its ok to do it. I like to do strength training with dumbells.

  • Hi Zoe! Thank you so much for all the info. I found you through Undergroundwellness, and bought your book. I'm on day 4 of Phase 1 and was wondering if anyone has gone longer that the 5 days, like 2-3 weeks perhaps? I had begun the diet before reading the entire book and just saw that green tea is not allowed, so that is why I was just going to continue until I get it right. But is it safe? Also is it ok to eat sugar snap peas, since it is a veggie? Thanks

  • @bellahearts plus at ww they keep pushing the traditional diet advice.. eat low fat avoid animal fats eat starchy foods count points etc.. im not sure they would ever change their advices as too much conflict of interess going on behind their stage.. read the book of Zoe "the obesity Epidemic".. All the best!!
