The Republican Party of San Diego County arranged its first ever high-tech phone bank in support of a candidate. We made 1,128 phone calls into Massachusetts on Tuesday, January 19th in support of Scott Brown. Thanks to a nationwide, grass roots effort, Scott Brown went on to - in a huge upset - win the special election to fill the U.S. Senate seat vacated after the passing of Ted Kennedy. Local Democrats - once again - did not mount a campaign. [KUSI]
