I Bet both those tunnels now have been sealed off so nobody can go inside incase it collapses. The Tunnel North of Bridgnorth is sealed off & Combe Down tunnel is.

@Renard380 I think it is Human nature finding a cave, or shelter, to build a place to live. It is scary due to animals that may be in it. Sort of like instinct, kind of how humans are scared of the dark.

I went in it today but we didn't go too far. Well I didn't, my mates went in a bit further but then we ran out as we heard this weird growling sound. Probably nothing but quite scary...one of my friend's dad went in it as a kid. This tunnel made him believe in ghosts...one of the scariest experiences in his life. The tunnel could be haunted as a man died in it...who knows...

Great video I have been through the tunnel a few times also the one at drewton, and one at warram percy there is a gate on this one high up and the last time I was there it had a pad lock on it.

Thanks mate, did you manage to get down any of the drainage tunnels when you went through Kettleness / Sandsend?
