My platform game updated again!
New features:
-Map maker that works (Save and loads files)
-Level lists added (Let the game load any number of levels)
-Fixed box bugs
-2 new types of enemies
-Bullet impact animation
-Exit opened animation
The level list files will allow players to make their own progression of levels.
The map maker program is still under development, but it's working pretty well for now.

I don't know how artistic you are, but you might like "Tile Studio", it's a really nice free tile editing/creation utility. Comes with a build in map editor. I like to use the built in map editor to test out the tiles I am creating. When you edit them it shows you what the tile looks like tiled as you edit. It has some really nice features anyhow. I'm not very artistic but have been able to whip up a few nice ones with it. It's open source. Just google it.

How long has this taken you to make the platform game and the editor all together?

Well i made it time ago... I remember it was like a month... but working like 3 or 4 days a week like 2 hours each...
I made it in my free time, uni is making me crazy haha
