  • Michael was a first call session guitarist. Michael plays fast because he can. The "MAB only plays fast" cliche is just that. Read his bio. MAB has won countless awards and has a big discography. Respect.

  • pps. i own a recording studo and a label and have been a sessions guitarist for 30 years. none of my clients have ever looked for speed. mabey a fast part here and there. what they all look for is an artist who can adapt a line or melody to the overall feel and taste of a piece..you can be fast only if ya want but its not gonna make you much money...

  • this guy may be fast but he definately is not the best. speed only counts on the racetrack and at the post office. not in the recording studio, or the bedroom for that matter....fast is cool but it does not rule. I have never seen a sessions guitarist sell a solo based on speed alone......just somethin to think about....

  • @CrowleyCS1

poppycock. look up francesco fareri. he is robotic and in general, soulless (secrets within is a good album). now look up these songs and listen to them the whole way through: rainforest, stop complaining, so much to live for, 2x again, a new day, just search up his songs, he has plenty of emotional tunes with tasty leads. his leads are fine, great in fact.

  • lol,i thought it was an entry.

  • @joeysixtysix That's a wig??!!?? I highly doubt that dude.

  • His wig freaks me out

  • @CrowleyCS1 i beg to differ...i think he has feeling in what he plays and plays fast at the same time...but hey, thats just my opinion.

  • MAB WOAH KICK ASS

  • I'm going off the rails on a crazy train
