Luis Arcaraz was considered the 4th best musical orchestra IN THE UNITED STATES!, after Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey and Duque Ellington. It's trumpet player was the best in the world; just look at wikipedia under Luis Arcaraz and will get the whole story. Luis Arcaraz a true Mexican great.

Music is in the ear of the beholder.

Some talents were great technicians, some great innovators, and some great showman.

The best example is from drumming.

Buddy Rich said Gene Krupa was the best entertainer as a drummer.

Krupa said Rich was the best drummer ever.

I think they were both right, but I prefer Krupa for his style and exuberance.

However, I did not like Krupa as much as a bandleader.

Very good player. I will start looking for his works. There are many exceptional players. One of my favorites was Ziggy Elman. Unfortunately he had a heart attack at an early age and was never the same. He was, at one time, called the best trumpeter in the world, but tastes vary. I also like Harry James, and he was a great technical player and known for having few clams. Both Elman and James were with Benny Goodman at the same time.

@cdbpdx Great player. You should listen to Harry James recordings before you say anything though. James was one of the best jazz arrangers and players.

@bvb7589 A Mexican great without a doubt. But you may want to check your sources. Wikipedia isn't credible as information is posted by other users. You can't say Count Basie doesn't make the top four. He was a great jazz composer and arranger.

@AnaJilK the thing is all animals (non-carnivore) are actually eaten by human beings (except the vegetarians) so why bury a dead bull when you can give it to the poor? Cows are eaten, chickens are eaten why shouldnt bull be eaten? After all lions eat gazels, wolves eat sheep. So why wont we eat meat?
