Business video informs large non-profits how to validate they are getting the lowest interchange rates (credit card processing rates) for their organization.

  • If any qualified 501c3 nonprofit wants to compare merchant statements in a private consultation, please visit my web site and contact me. If you want to see my response to this poster, read my blog.

You mention "emerging markets" which I clearly state merchants should look for on their statement. Want to guess how many non-profit merchant accounts I review that a) are not on a price plan that lets them take advantage of emerging market rates b) are not set up with the proper code to qualify as an emerging market? CPS/RETAIL2(EMERG MKTS) debit intechange is .80% and standard debit is .95%. Non-profits can and SHOULD qualify for this rate, but too many don't .

  • Are their special credit card processing rates for non-profits....? The answer to that is NO... NOT in any way.... This lady is full of it..... Visa / MC considers all markets by which they have limited presence in to be “emerging markets”. These markets are specifically; government, schools, utilities, insurance, cable / broadband, and pay television (OD); - nothing more...

Lady remove your video or I will report YOU and your organization to the card associations.

Those are not my degrees, though I have a Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University. One is a certificate from non-proft as a founding member of group that raises money for them. Another is an Addy Award for awesome results in a direct mail campaign. Thanks for commenting though. ^Christine
