Thaxted Morris Men's Centenary Weekend of Dance. On the Saturday evening Thaxted perform their version of The Abbots Bromley Horn Dance to the Wheelwright Robinson tune. This is an excerpt from that performance.

I'm glad they used the Wheelwright Robinson tune. I grew up watching the Abbots Bromley Horn Dance to this tune at my yearly folk camp and it's so beautiful and haunting.

Just seen this at 2011 Thaxted Patronal Procession under a midsummer night sky I n front of the church. Wonderful and haunting. We can't afford to lose what little we have left of rituals and traditions like this.
