To think about it!

CPN Technical Editor David Newton shows you how to safely replace the focusing screens on the EOS-1 series, EOS 40D and EOS 5D. Alles in allem sehr einfach. Siehe auch http://ckesting.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!3C65AEE943CA6AA2!369.entry

  • ok, question; my 5D mk ii came with a EG-A screen; circle in middle and focus points; I bought the canon EG-S screen; I installed it; it looks exactly the same; circle with focus points. I think I got ripped off. and No, I didn't mix them up.... isn't the S screen supposed to look much different than the A screen??? and I did change the setting for which screen was being used in the function menu. Help???

  • Excellent, simple instruction. Great video.

  • Super precision Matte would be the screen to use if one were using M42 manual focus lenses on the camera?

  • Thanks for the tip. Just took out mine to clean it, and it worked perfectly!

  • does it work with canon 5d?

    thnaks

  • hi does it work with canon 5D?

    somebody ask me thnaks

  • Thanks. That's the basics. What about aligning the screen properly? The so-called washers appear useless, because they won't help aligning the focus circle of the FocusingScreen Ec-A for 5D II. As a result, the focus of my 5D II fitted with the focusing screen in question is quite a bit (!) off now…

  • Great visual, really helped, thanks for your efforts!!
