Berea College Christmas Country Dance School 2011 - Appalachian Mountain Barndance

Now here's one of the classes I took while at CCDS. This class, presided over by Jim Morrison (NOT the Doors' lead singer, BTW), showed us how to dance like they usually do at a typical square dance in oh, say, Virginia, Tennessee, or anywhere else down south. The thing is, when I first took this class, I hadn't counted on there being any fancy footwork involved! (all the "front-back-front-change, front-back-front-change" nonsense I still managed to pull off) Nonetheless, I still had a great time and met some new friends along the way.

Recorded on December 29th in the Dance Studio at Seabury Center on the campus of Berea College in Berea, Kentucky, using my Flip UltraHD camera.
