The amazing finale to The Last Waltz! This amazing footage gives you a whole new idea to just how great the lineup was, and now thanks to this footage, Richard Manuel is seen singing his verse in the Bob Dylan classic he was known for . You also get to see Eric Clapton playing the guitar solo, and Paul Butterfeild playing harmonica, as well as all the other guests.

  • I honestly dont know, I wish someone could answer that...I dont think someone would be recording from the audience considering technology of a home camera in 1976 wouldnt be able to handle recording a 6 hour concert.

  • You can see good old Ringo drumming behind the Hawk and Dylan.

  • You can see how many glitches and flubs there were . . . But you can also see that they are SOOOOOO magnificent all together! And I love the Clapton solo!

  • any day now, any way now...i shall be released....

  • i think this is from an official camera (ie. not audience) as during the first song there is a tape glitch with a fragment of what looks like colour footage and a time code with "Bill Graham Presents".

this footage also doesn't include part of Jam 1 and all of Jam 2

  • @thedave108

Hey Buddy, It was a mutual decision! Spend the money and buy (1) The Last Waltz, and (2) the boxed set of the final concert. (the Last Waltz).

  • this is the camera from the centre of the concert hall that shot the full 6 hrs you can find a bootleg dvd of the full concert unedited and all the songs besides dont do it

  • Nuttin but WOW!

  • I love Robbie's solo music - but what an ass for breaking up the band at that point - he shoulda just quit - as painful as it would have been, and not dragged the rest of the guys out the door with him....

  • Thank you. Brings tears (happy and sad) to my eyes.

  • Absolutely incredible footage. Do we have any ideo who filmed this? Where did you get it from?
