Haha! Wow!!! Supercool!!! :) I plan to release it here on Youtube first and foremost, iTunes sales have been so-so, so I'm doing this to see if I can gain more listeners. I'll make an iTunes release later on and let you have 25% of all eventual sales! Now let's see how I best catch the audio... I guess I'll do it the easy way and record from here into a trusty old cassette deck & sample from there on, adds some neat saturation too. ;) Cheers - Patrick!

Sure, as long as you credit me if it hits the charts! let me know when it's done, I'd love to hear it.

Excellent! :)
I got this weird idea, since I'm working on finishing the song; I heard you talking on the clip here and I wonder if I could sample something of what you say and maybe use it in the track? :)

There is a preset on iShowU specifically for YouTube, and I think the dimensions are 720x480. I always set the codec to H.264 and to get it to look as sharp as possible, I set the slider to the highest quality.

Thanks! I don't because I use a 2x2 Ghz G5 and Apple just dropped support for the PPC macs, but I can really recommend the freeware Berio (google and you'll find it) which records the screen nicely. I switch my monitor to what's needed (it's 1680x1050 px default). Which resolution is best for posting something done on screen onto Youtube? I'm just working with it right now, I'm going to publish a new version of an old track I made called Koolkordz. Cheers!

For the screen capture, I use iShowU, which has many presets for different dimensions and formats. You have to pay for it, but if you have Snow Leopard, the new Quicktime Player X has a screen capture feature you might want to check out.

Hey, thanks. I am aware of the shortcuts, but when it involves more than one modifier key, I blank out and would rather just use something graphical. But you're right to bring it up because I'm sure it would be easier for some people to use shortcuts. I do use the app switcher, in fact, I assigned my third mouse button to activate it plus a four finger swipe across the trackpad will bring it up too, which is so handy.
Help!!! I use pc and Vegas software.... iMovie I tried to use but could not figure out... However Sony Vegas takes for ever to edit!!! Draging across the time line is a pain! Any opions or recomedations on it?

@vacationboyvideos I have never used Vegas, but I use Final Cut Pro and from what I hear they work similarly. If so, then there are probably many other ways to edit than simply dragging and dropping. I know that in FCP, drag and drop is the least efficient way to edit. I'll be creating some FCP-related tutorials soon so you might want to check those out once they're uploaded.
