Jimmy was from Bee Bop jazz days and his music had a swing to it.Yes Scotty Anderson has chops and technique but swings like a dead monkey. If folks would really listen to Chet Atkins they would here his playing had a lilt(swing)to it as He was from same era!Don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing!Chops is chops but feeling can't be taught!

@tyguy335: Bryant was unbelieveably fast and clean in his technique, but there's folks out there that can give him a run for his money. If you haven't heard Scotty Anderson, check him out.... Scotty's chops are ever bit as good, and he fingerpicks too. Best of all, Scotty is alive and well and still playing near his Ohio home.

If not sped up as some believe,Jimmy was smoothest and fastest flatpicker ever as his notes were legato and not stacato ala George benson and others! It was said he came to Nashville and played just as fast and smooth live!We are blessed to have had him with us!!!
