@neomauresque yes there is striking in judo, but as well as not being widely taught, it is practiced on thin air (never even on punchbags) so it's difficult to tell how powerful your technique is. Additionally, even in clubs where it is practiced, it is not practiced much.

Yes Judo does have Atemi Waza (striking) however it's not widely taught.

Between Judo and physical prep I practiced 8h/week. 2h of those just the Kimeno Kata you saw on the video.
