The Secret Life of the East High Teenager [[chapter 45]]

I felt someone shaking my shoulder. I woke up and looked at my surroundings. I wasnt at home. I was at Gabriellas.

Gabriella: are you ok?

McKell: Why am I at your house?

Miley: we had our girls night remember?

McKell: but Joe came over and saw the jacket, and we got in a fight because he was going to a movie premiere with Stacey.

Harper: No he didnt.

McKell: But we were fighting and yelling surely you guys heard it.

Alex: I think you just had a dream.

I sat up to see I was in my pajamas and I had Joes jacket next to me. I looked around and realized that it all really was just a dream. I stood up and grabbed Joes jacket.

Mckell: Ill be back.

I grabbed my purse and headed out to my car. I should have known that it was a dream. Joe would never do that to me. I got in my car and drove over to Joes house. I knocked on the door and Nick answered.

Nick: oh thank goodness youre here, he wont wake up, well, he wont get out of bed.

McKell: hes upstairs?

Nick: yeah.

I ran up the stairs with his jacket. I walked over to his bed, he was rolled over on his side. I dropped the jacket on the bed and he turned around surprised.

Joe: McKell?

McKell: I ripped your jacket.

Joe: What?

He sat up and looked at the jacket.

Joe: What happened?

I sat on the bed.

McKell: I wanted to sleep with your jacket last night and the girls said I shouldnt because it wasnt healthy, so they tried to grab it and it ripped. All of this is a result of our stupid fighting. Because knowing that we werent really talking so I wanted to have your jacket as some comfort. Lets talk, because I hate fighting with you. I need you, and this is killing me. I had a nightmare last night. I dreamt that we had an even bigger fight because you had hung out with Stacey, and you were going with her to a premiere and-

Joe: McKell-

McKell: and it killed me because I knew she would try to come between us-

I was cut off by Joe kissing me.

Joe: You know I would never go to a premiere with Stacey, she scares me, always will, and I love you too much. And If it makes you happy, I wont go to the dance with her.

The tears began to fall, but only because he is the sweetest guy I ever.

McKell: no, you can go with her, I mean you already said you would, well technically you didnt say anything, but I also asked Chad, and I know you dont like him, but hes my friend and I would feel bad If I said I didnt want to go with him anymore.

Joe; I understand.

McKell: I love you.

Joe: I love you too. And lets promise to talk things out after we get into an argument, last night about killed me.

McKell: me too.

Joe: so you wanted to sleep with my jacket huh? What about me? Im better than a jacket.

I wiggled his eyebrows suggestively. I just laughed and leaned in and kissed him.

Joe: You- look- Hot in- Your pajamas- by the way.

He was talking to me in-between kisses. I just laughed and kissed him with even more passion than before. We just continued to make out on his bed for another 10 minutes or so when Nick came up into the room.

Nick: Aaah! I dont need to see that!

We reluctantly pulled away.

McKell: I should go back to the girls so that they know that Im ok.

Joe pulled me close to him.

Joe: dont leave, I want you to stay right here with me.

McKell: Ill come back, how about in an hour or two.

Joe: fine, Ill let you go, but you better come back.

Mckell: I will. I promise.

I leaned over and gave him a kiss.

Nick: See you McKell.

McKell: see ya.

I walked downstairs and out to my car. I drove back over to Gabriellas house with a big smile on my face.

A/N: haha and you all thought they really had that huge argument. I knew that it was a good place to leave off because it left you hanging, but it was only a dream. Thank goodness. :D I didnt really want Joe to befriend Stacey, because shes supposed to scare him. :D Hope you enjoyed the chapter.
