That's not really true. There are some games with quite interesting gameplay. Check out my Duel Savior Videos, that was from a hentai game with actual hentai in it or in other words 18+ material and at the same time had a unique battle system and great gameplay. Also, Unless the game is pure rape most games you'd have to go quite an ordeal of text as well as making the correct choices to get the girl you want.

Most are visual novels but there are also quite a few with some pretty unique gameplay, you'd have to play them to know if its fun or not though. =/
