it took me 2 weeks to win this game... your problem is porbably that you play this game like a job...meaning your trying to rush it, which usually ends in fail... and its bloody common sense for magic... catalyst >spells, pyromancy hand... PYROMANCY... oh look a boss is going to kill you with a strike... what do you do TAKE OUT YOUR SHIELD

@Zombiekiller6999 even though its an easy location. all you need was a spider shield and the ninja set and your choice of weapon you wanted to use. .the catacombs is the most frustrating place of all, not blighttown.

Phil approached the game in such a different manner, it was sort of like a challenge run from his first playthrough. If he wouldve done things differently in the game he wouldnt think its so hard. When I saw his playthrough he did so many things that were not supposed to be done and at the end it made his playthrough even harder in the long run. Of course, he wouldnt know what to do or what not to do, but I just wish he would make a second char and give it a second shot.

I consider myself a casual gamer at most and I was also on the fence about this game when it came out. I did however feel like it had the potential to be something really different from other games and had I listened to someone like you I would probably have missed out on what have become one of my favorite games ever. Point being that reviews are kind of useless. Even "the common person" look for different things in games I am sure so don't say that "the common person" won't enjoy it. I did.

A person who talks about "investment of time" in regard to a game is a complete moron. Playing a game is fun; if it is fun one cannot count minutes considering them "an investment"; if it is not fun why play a game?
