Star Ocean: First Departure- Opening (1)

Well, here's the first part of the opening for Star Ocean: First Departure, SO1's remake on the PSP. Is the sound quality good for you? I'm gonna record the opening like I did for the original, along with bosses/events/PAs and random battles. Lol, wonder if I can finish this and Chrono Trigger before Persona 4...thankfully I played these to death before.

Finally got remotejoy lite working, all I had to do was enable hardware acceleration. However, after that, I noticed the crackling was still there, it was coming from the stereo cable itself. So, I plugged in my PSP's video out to the mic in on the back of my computer, instead of the front, and indeed, the sound quality is much better.

Also, for some reason, cwcheat wouldn't appear near the end. It displayed fine before. Well, the cheats I'm using for this playthrough are the Universe cheat, it gives enemies double their stats like SO2's universe mode, it will make this playthrough interesting. I'm also using "Enable Fast Item Creation" to get rid of the white flash during item creation and "move faster in towns/dungeons" for convenience. Also, for the bandits, I'm using "Save anywhere" for the bandits so I don't have to rewatch the opening movie if I die/every time I reset to get the Fanzine to drop.

Here's the difficulty level code, just replace the (0) in "0x0000000(0) for Earth/normal difficulty (1x enemy stats) with (1) for Galaxy difficulty (1.5x stats) and (2) for Universe difficulty (2x enemy stats). So all three codes will look like this, just paste them into your cwcheat database:

I didn't make this code btw, just found it on the cwcheat topic on Gamefaqs boards.

If you want to switch between them you have to disable the current one and enable the one you want.

7:11 That's not how you do it. You kill monsters and go to a skill shop, either one first, then you open the menu and go to skills and select the one to level up and push X. Ratix, um err...Roddick has the wrong idea. :(

@lagrtz The game starts with people turning into stone and you have to find a cure for it, then you find out there's a better way to permanently remove it and you travel with some strangely appeared humans.

In this game we humans are the aliens. lmao.

@ZeromusX question. do the charecter ending have anime cutscenes. cause checking the movie player it said there were only 7 cutscenes. so i was just curious

The guy does anime voice work. It's Yuri Lowenthal. He plays that Sauske guy from the ninja show.
