Freelancer Colony Ship Ingame

I never thought I would actually see this thing ingame. Figuring that the model wasn't doing me or anyone any good while it sat on my hard drive I decided to put it up on Starport late one night. Before noon the next day, Nightstalker and Skotty had already converted and optimized the model.

I'm putting this video up more as a tribute to the great Freelancer modding community that has been around all this time and still hasn't died or ripped itself to shreds. The progress made in recent times is so great, had you told anyone a year ago about what is being done with the Freelancer engine today, they would laugh and walk away.

Here's to the Freelancer and the long-standing community to which I've been a part of for so long.

@Pectabyte Ye. Discovery mod 4.85 is the current one. It's probably the second biggest FL mod after Crossfire but it certainly is the one with the most RP.

@Pectabyte Sorry for the late response; if you like RP in Freelancer, I suggest you check out the Discovery mod. There are more others on that modding website, "Mod DB" or something. Hopefully you'll find what you're looking for!
