Return, indeed!
Okay, so I'm just tired of waiting now. The epilogue to Touhou Mother will come when it comes. (And no, these videos haven't been done since I posted the finale or anything like that.)
Shanghai's scenario is considerably longer than Meiling's (and in my opinion much better). No posting them all at once this time. There are five videos - I'll be posting them a day at a time.
First of all, I should explain "Magicom" - it was originally "madou." Which does mean something on its own, but it's also the word used for MagiTek in Final Fantasy 6, a pun on "mahou." It's the same kind of idea, so I figured that's what he was going for, but since it's obviously not the same, I changed it to Magicom.
COMMENTS
3:07: Alice's dates originally used random symbols, not random letters. But I kept * and X, and hey, circles are basically just O's. Hopefully there isn't some well-established date system in Gensokyo I'm not aware of and have utterly screwed up.
4:27: The loading bar originally used special three-way-bracket and long-dash characters, which eliminated the gaps and looked much better. Either way, I still think it's a pretty creative use of messages.
Note: Both of the above changes are due to RPG Maker 2003's apparent hatred of Japanese and special characters - it turns them into gibberish ASCII. I'm really not sure why this is, but it's pretty much the only way in which I've noticed 2000 to be better.
8:03: Reisen was originally (for just the first video, I think) called Udonge all the time. That name is no longer mentioned anywhere else besides this line, so Koki probably just forgot to change it. I kept it as Udonge just because.
STUPID LIST
0:04: Wow, that was fast. Anyway, the characters for water and ice look pretty similar, so I thought the first character was water. Combined with the second one, it's "crystal." But since it's actually "ice," the correct title is just "Ice Fairy." This is made further stupid because I could have just copied the characters from the filenames. Hm.
6:27: "Assisstant"? That sounds dangeresque.
7:08: The arrow on Alice's speech bubble is off. Not exactly my fault, though. (And I'm sure it was fine in Koki's video...)
8:54: Actually "How to Learn With an IQ of 25." Turns out it was a reference to Masaru's really low IQ stat.

Shang is adorable! When I first saw this game I thought it was a romhack of Live-A-Live! So this is an RPG Maker 2003 game?

Yeah. I probably should have mentioned that all the info about Touhou-A-Live is in the description for the original Hong video. But I'll make a playlist for it eventually, so whatever.
