Guru Ravidas Temple demolation in Santokhgarh hp

Respect Sir, May I have your kind attention to hear some grievance pertaining to the Dalit Community and I want to address a few lines for your consideration. My self is Raj kumar (State Monitoring Secretary NCDHR) Himachal Pradesh. I belong to CHAMAR cast (Dalit Community). Sir, I Organized Respected Baba sahib Dr. B.R Ambedkar memorial functions, Meetings in Dalit Basti to discuss their Problems, Rights & way to uplift their living standard. I can understand the agony of Dalits because of the fact that I my self had been a victim of such agony. At the time of demolition of Guru Ravidas temple at Santokhgarh 22 Jan.,2005, when 103 people were arrested by the police among them there were 24 ladies,6 adult children, old men and young boys like me. All the arrested men and the ladies were kept in the police post at the UNA from the very early morning till night and were beaten mercilessly for no fault of us. Next day ladies were free on bail and all gents were kept in jail for 35 days in KANDA Jail at Shimla. The above incident and circumstances inspired me to do something for the cause of Dalits for their upliftment. Also with us arrest by the police one Ex MLA from Punjab (Garhshankar) Sh. Shingara Ram Shungra and his friends. But really Sir, Himachal has a Big-Big problem of untouchability in some district like Mandi, Kangra,Kullu,Hamirpur Kinour Chamba Shimla. There is highly practiced Cases we are having. Once I had view to Hannogi Mata temple at Mandi district, my maternal uncle is working there and not told his cast anyone he told me that dont tell anyone your caste name, tell then that your are from jatt Community. Evening I and my maternal uncle go to in temple Diner Hall. A temple hall in Side Priest (Pandit) case food. A sweeper family arrived and stood outside the temple there were three members to the family; mother, father and son. The pandit packed food in a polyethelene bag and tossed it to the sweeper family from a distance, saying without respect take this and eat. I felt unwell and could not eat after this.

Wot right f pple the scheduled cast having after 60 yrs of independence?Pple dont hav right to worship their God! This incident raised another question about the role of Indian judiciary and d function of police if it would b d case of any Hindu temple it might not b dealt like dis as in the case of Ayodya.Dont know what the hell pple from other caste thinks about scheduled caste.
