To Be By Your Side - A Digimon AMV

*Runner Up for best Sentimental video at AnimeNEXT* :D A heartfelt AMV all about the relationship of a digimon and their partner. I dedicate it to all the digimon fans out there. A lot of work went into this AMV.

Disclaimer: I DO NOT own Digimon or this song. I edited clips together to match the feel of the song I selected to make this anime music video and tell a story.

Shown at Animazement 2009 and AnimeNext 2009 contests, and Otakon 2009 AMV overflows. :)

The song I selected is "To Be By Your Side" by Bruno Coulais, from the soundtrack to "Winged Migration". If you like this song BUY THE SOUNDTRACK, it's an absolutely BEAUTIFUL score. I listen to the CD all the time.

Uses clips from Seasons 01-03 (Digimon Adventure, 02, and Tamers) and Digimon movies 1-5. I try to give equal focus to all the seasons.

Digimon is a special series to me, it's got such great values, and is so not 'a kiddy series', Tamers was especially intense. It's also got some really pretty transformation and fight sequences, as well as nice animation.

Awesome AMV. I love Digimon, especially Tamers. Though I'm curious where I can find the song. I've checked I-Tunes and they don't have it (though to be fair that in itself isn't all that surprising...) and I was wondering if there is someplace I could buy it?

u use some of the wrong digimon seasons....u should of use the first one seasons!!!the most...but ill give u props for making a digimon amv..not many ppl make them...so yea...watch my anime plz

I did use the first season characters, quite a bit XD I'm sorry I was trying to give time to season 02 and 03 as well (I liked them a lot and I think they are one less than the original). Thanks for watching! And plz no trolling for views in comments that is ....yea. XD

Thank you so much for making this video. I enjoyed it immensely. I have never stopped liking Digimon since I started watching it when I was 9...and I'm 19 now. The song choice for this video was wonderful, and the clips at the end put me on the verge of tears. The relationship between a Digidestined and their Digimon is one of the big themes that I don't see expressed often enough when people think of Digimon. Thank you for taking the time to make this to show people that. Great job!

there is no doubt that seasons 1 and 3 were the best digimon seasons so far but there still this thing about tamers that makes it more special han the others i'm not sure what it is but maybe because like what fffqs said it gives hope that digimon are real.

A few things: Wow, just wow, this video is amazing, it brings me to tears every time, and I've watched it like 100 times<3 Digimon is an amazing series and it is a shame that pokemon was released within a similar timeline, if it had never happened everyone would have experienced this wonderful series. Next, what program did you use, I'm really curious because if I could create something like this I'd love to try AMV creation. Also where did you find the clips, I notice the lack of a watermark :)

There's a reason this video has no dislikes. :') Such a beautiful video. Brings back memories of when I was a kid, wishing Digimon were real. Got to admit, I'm almost 18 and still wish they were. Great, great video.
