http://www.cointaker.com/ We converted this pinball machine (Bride of Pinbot). George (my son) did this for his 2011 science fair school project. George measured how much electricity is used daily and how much it costs. He is able to show that you can save more than 50% in energy costs! We got our kit from Coin Taker.

  • Can anyone guess how many time he switched his shirt?

  • @doxiong, This was filmed over several days. It took us 6 or 7 hours to change all the bulbs.

  • Great project, And nice score on the Bride :)

  • I want that Bride of Pinbot! I feel so jealous :(

  • This kid's neck is absolutely monstrous.

  • LEDs are brighter, produce less heat than incandescent bulbs and last longer, so sure, it's a good idea to use them. However, it's not necessarily cost-effective. A LED kit can cost 200 bucks, so it's only worth it if your machine is constantly on. If you have a pinball at home that you only switch on to actually play, you'll likely never break even.

  • @haker67 Wow...the bulbs are replicable for a reason, they burn out and need to be replaced. Changing the bulbs from one kind to another does nothing to the value of the machine, if anything it raises the value. Please make sure you know something about what your talking about before making a retarded comment. Thanks.

  • "by the way you have taken the collectors price and just trashed it by updating with all the new lights. but hay to each their own."

Uh, no. Since the bulbs are fully removable, the value hasn't changed at all. You obviously know nothing about pinball machines.

  • Good for you for using CoinTaker Led's .. I led All my Pin's use-n CoinTaker

  • Great project! I used to own a Bride of Pinbot machine and regret selling it. Hopefully can get another one later and I'll do exactly that - it does look sharp with the colors!

  • @DK435 That's exactly what I need

  • @NsrSince01 The Earth will be here. You mean save Humans.
