@njbestofbest hey, id strongly suggest you get the projector housings. halogen housings arent designed for an hid bulbs brightnes so you cant focus/aim them properly causing you to be too bright for oncoming traffic. good friend of mine did this and got pulled over twice the first week for "having his highbeams on" lol good luck

Very nice car! I have an 06 and I want to get some but do I need Headlight projectors with the HID's? I would prefer not to get them and save money, however I live in California so is it even legal to have them without projectors?

@shazzyhimself if he does something stupid in the future and posts a vid of him racing or doing something illegal and a Local Cop or person out to get him could report it as evidence of illegal act and then the police could knock on his door a little easier. Other thing could be that if someone wanted that car, that exact car, and had the means to look up his DMV record they could find where he lives and take it, but thats a little extreme I could find this car in my town in about 20 minutes.

Hard to pick up true color with a cheap camera in bad lighting. Looking into the housings its hard to see how yellow they are. The light they emit is yellow, meaning anything they project on turns yellow.
