  • Yes and no. The first movement only has a couple technically difficult passages (4:45 for example), but having the right intonation, dynamic contrasts and creating that warmth and richness of sound is what takes the most work. it's a great beginner piece to build confidence in both the low and high registers and to work on romantic, legato bowing. The cellist here does a fantastic job.
