Project video by David Billingsley, Michael Grimes, Christopher Jones, and Robert Jurenko. Set to Ride of the Valkyries, by Richard Wagner.
Modeled equations of motion within MATLAB/Simulink. Exported trajectory data to FlightGear for visualization. Recorded flight with FRAPS.
wow thats pretty cool im learning matlab right now....however im struggling through it due to lack of motivation but thanks i really needed a boost....

@Gharalam I forget how we pulled it off exactly, but the basic premise is that Flight Gear can run off of its own internal simulator to generate a trajectory, or it can use a pre-defined trajectory. So we ran our 6DoF model with our input perturbations in simulink, being sure to convert to North East Down coordinates, Matlab printed out the trajectory, and then we loaded that into Flight Gear.
Others have also demonstrated real time use of Flight Gear. That stuff is really cool! - David
