From our Rockstar Studio this is Tony T and now its time for College Football coverage with a lighter touch of Vegas. Its our Chick Pick Segment. We now welcome to Gamblers Television with her Chick Pick Tricia Regan. Hello Tricia.
Tricia: Hi Tony and hey everyone.
Tony: Alright Tricia, as former student-athlete at Colorado University, you know how many elements can come into play in a game. How important do you think home field advantage is?
Tricia: Honestly, in my opinion, home-field advantage can make or break a game. Having your friends and family, your classmates, literally your entire school backing you up and cheering you on- that can lift any team, any sport, any day. The Buffs have always had an unbelievable student following and this year seems to be no different.
Tony: Now in our match-up this week, the 5th ranked Longhorns are hoping to continue their undefeated run in Boulder. Any other elements, besides the Buffs home field advantage that you think will come into play?
Tricia: Well Saturdays game will be the Big 12 opener for both teams and emotions are sure to be running high. Speaking of height, another element the Longhorns are definitely going to have to endure is the altitude. Let me tell you from experience, adjusting to the altitude is not easy. Players endurance and having depth in their lineup will play a huge factor in this game for the Longhorns.
Tony: OK now its time for Tricias Chick Pick. From the Big 12 Conference the Texas Longhorns travel to take on Tricias Colorado Buffaloes at 7PM ET with FSN televising. Texas is a 14-point road favorite against your alma mater.
Tricia: I hate to say it, but take Texas with the minus 14 points. Although the Longhorns will be fighting against the Buffs mile-high altitude at their Folsom Field home, CU has lost five of its last six meetings with Texas. And no increase in altitude can let us forget the last meeting of these two teams in the 05 Big 12 championship game, where the Longhorns embarrassed the Buffs 70-3.
