  • @TheCornCobbers I like your little sister.

  • SIMBA gives birth to a kid? That's not the way I remember it...

How about Yentl with Barbara Streisand?

  • @CineRam No simba doesn't GIVE birth, but he has a kid. Way to make me feel bad for wording it wrong lol

  • It makes you feel young...because you're so old. :P

  • Moulin Rouge (2002)

  • Hey KayKay. My suggestion is Pennies from Heaven a musical with Steve Martin. A lot of people hate this movie because it is so dark but I highly recommend it. It is a very underated classic. Even if you don't pick to review this, watch it anyway just for yourself.

  • JTT! My suggestions are the Wiz and Xanadu.

  • Across The Universe is one that i love.

  • The Lion King IS a musical, a lot of disney movies guys(and girls) like are musicals. They're a bunch of hypocrites if they said musicals are for sissies .I adore the old Hollywood era musicals. A Star is Born, the Garland version, is an excellent film that I would recommend. The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, if you want it less downbeat, happier film (but just as bittersweet). It transcends the barrier of language with beautiful music and beautiful Catherine Deneuve.

  • The Lion King is probably my favorite Disney film ever! The story, while done before, is just handled so well and in a very mature manner. I love how they capture the grand and epic feel of Africa. Great songs, characters, and emotional moments. I really miss the age of the Disney Renaissance, so many classics. They don't make animated films, even Disney, like this anymore.

    Great review!

    I second Across the Universe!
