Y) It really hurt!! I have never been kicked in the groin like that. The groin protection cup was dented in half. If you are man, you sure understand how painful it feels to be kicked in the groin especially by that powerful man.
Q) Did you think of quitting because of that?
Y) Well, the referee actually asked me if I could still fight, and it was really painful, but I didn't want to let the fans down so I decided to keep fighting.
Q) What are your next plans?

Q) You came into mma from judo background like Ishii. Are you happy that you as an elder won against young new boy?
Y) I don't have any particular personal feeling about him. I respect him as a fighter just like I respect every other fighter. We are both fighters who fight to win. So I'm happy that we had a good fight and I won tonight.
Q) At the end of the 2nd round, Ishii's kick got you in the groin. How painful was it?

Y) Not particularly. I didn't have much strategies. During the fight, I thought about knocking him out with punches if I had a chance, yet he was tough, his head was hard. It didn't go in the way I wanted.
Q) What sort of attacks of Ishii were you cautious about?
Y) I thought that it would be pretty tough and dangerous if he takes me down and attacks me from the top position. Fortunately, it didn't happen and he kept trying to fight on feet so it went well, I think.

Y) I'm exhausted...
Q) What are your impressions after the fight?
Y) Well, it was his first mma fight, so my strategy was to wait him first and respond to his attacks. Although I gave several good hits, he was pretty tough. I think as he gets more experienced in mma, he will be a good fighter.
Q) In the first round, you cut him with your punch. Was that your strategy to cut him early in the fight?
