Level 64 Coilfang Resevoir: Slave Pens Duo

Discipline Priest & Protection Pally

Just my wife and I duo'ing Through Slave Pens when the mobs were Yellow (1/2 Movies of us Duo'ing Slave Pens) Great time without random people messing up pulls etc. (Not that we don't mess up our own pulls enough :P)

If your interested in our specs, to bad :P We are not wearing "uber purple" auctioned items, 100% of our gear is Quested/Instance gear (Some from Pre BC) And we even got rid of Arwell's Autioned Purple staff :P So we are now officially "Non-Twinked"

This was our first and only run through Furnace and we did it without any help other than ourselves. (Note: Hehe, Anyone that enjoys us trying to overcome a problem, will enjoy Part 2 :P)

(Some notes about our Run)
In case your wondering, since we seemed to do sooo well at this, I (the tank) have NEVER done this instance, from this point on, everythings new to me :P so I don't know any tricks...allthough, Arwell's done it plenty, so let me know about patrols, etc :P the bosses though, are a totally new experiance with only two players....so any prior "Plans" were shattered :P

Once again, a TON of fun just duo'ing it...., no "bad pulls" and no stupid deaths...Hooray, Slave Pens Totally finished, No need for waiting for group memebers or anything...but completed and on the achievment chart :P

@ThePenguinforce (first off, just going back over old comments) But yeah we started using this techno music, because...it wasn't being muted... End of the day, some kind of music is better than silent films :P

Don't see why it wouldn't work...basic need is "tank" and "healer"....the plus to being a pally is half the attacks are "magical" half are melee, so silence doesn't really restrict you, neither does disarm...good luck

And also, I gotta agree, I'm loving the Prot pally's DPS now, Especially once you get the "51 point" talent "Hammer of Righteousness" Thing is awesome :D I'm pulling around 500 dmg (1000 Crit) to 3 mobs in front of me, every 6 seconds, for minimal mana useage (Easilly spammable while using Mana Seal, And can still spam off Holy shield, Avengers Shield, judgments, and once in a while consecration) It's insane... (Big crab boss, I DPS'd down entirely by myself

One of these days once I (tekkal the pally) get -my- computer back, we'll be Dual frapsing it, to give the ability to see from both views, and we'll mix it up :P

Hehe, Yup.. Important tricks to the Bosses

(totem boss) Mana drain, saves sooo much trouble! And of course, keep those heal totems down, rest are secondary targets.

(Big crab) Keep your casters out of range! And when tank/whoever Get's that "DoT" Heal them to full to be safe Dot will fall off

(Main boss) This guys cake, Cure the poison he casts, and aim him away from rest of group, easy peasy

Only trouble we had was with the Soothsayers, check vid 2
