Springsteen played this for the first time on May 9, 1974 when he opened for Bonnie Raitt at Harvard Square. Rock critic Jon Landau was at the show and wrote in Boston's Real Paper: "I saw rock and roll's future - and its name is Bruce Springsteen." Landau eventually became Springsteen's manager.

I stumbled on to these video's at the Capitol Theater I went to many of these show's and ended up buying the place in 1989 after I had become owner of a large construction co. Turned it into a mini shopping mall. Had a bachelor party for my kid brother with the kielbasa queen and marcy the snake women. It was outrageous.

If they hadn't used the dinosaurs cameras there would be no footage of this vintage performance and that would have been a great loss.Thank God for Dinosaurs!
