THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE ~ JESUS SAID, "I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE♥

This is my effort to bring recognition to my brother and the thousands of others who are being held for minor roles they played in federal cases. There is no doubt that my brother needed to be separated from what was destroying him, but not for the rest of his life. His girlfriend at the time was the one who had been under federal investigation and when she was finally apprehended and looking at many years, she was given the opportunity to do what they call cooperate. The six part documentary explains how the Mandatory Minimum laws are backfiring on us. The ones who deserve the sentences get off while the small role players do the time. My brother never had a violent or weapons charge and has been sentenced to LIFE in prison. Some murderers don't get that much time. There are literally hundreds of thousands of people being held for many years...I know there is a better way than to forget the face of a man or woman.

I think that "Mother Freedom" spoke the universal language of hope for a better day...This tune, from the first moment, the message remains in my heart and head... the pivotal moment when we look deep inside as to what our personal freedom really is..

I have sp many memories of Bread great classics...my first love...played these tunes on his Alvarez guitar...who became my first daughters' father....very romantic, and I was very young..I make these videos to bring honour to the song and the artist...in hopes that it will strike a memory for someon or for our future generations to hear for the first time...

Bread, I have chosen this tune to represent the hope for all men and women to find freedom in their hearts and souls no matter where they are...and, that all of us everywhere believe in freedom...the truth will set us free.

Freedom for those who's lives are worth living outside those walls. Appropriate song Sherry.. and this law is so unreal.. its a crime that it continues.. a shame.. As you say, your brother needed to break apart from what was destroying him.. but not for his entire life.. having done no violent crimes.. its so very sad. I can't even imagine this for anyone. Trust in God, is the only way.. strength and direction.. ((hugs))
