http://www.ntv.co.ke A death toll of 70 since December 2007 and over ten thousand livestock stolen. That is the grim picture of the state of insecurity in parts of Isiolo, Samburu, Tigania, Igembe, Garbatuta and Laisamis. But is the govt doing enough to reverse this worrying trend? Its own Kenya National Commission on Human Rights does not think so. Patrick Amimo is on the trail of the killings amid the spiral of crime and insecurity.

  • All those suggestions are bull. The problem in Isiolo and Marsabit are political and land related, though mostly land.Unfortunately no one,the politicians, gov, the so called NGOs want to admit it for self preservation purposes.Land in this region is under trust,is poorly demarcated and foreighners(read non residents) easily claim real estate rights hence the conflict. One only has to compare the ethnic composition of the area three decades ago and now, over land policy to get the picture

  • Enough with killing and injuring innocent Kids and women. Where is Jim Kibaki who has been running around pretending to care for the youth of kenya? When is william Ruto cum warlord going to be arrested for sponsering the militia?
