Sat the 14th Ortega Ride...Fri the 13th Spill-over?

This Ortega Hwy motorcycle ride vlog was on Saturday the 14th but Friday the 13th must have spilled over -- I should have known from all the bad omens. There were 4 separate incidents that marred this ride.

where's the camera positioned? seems like it is zoomed all the time, small view-angle in comparison to other YT-videos ...

@phabstar It's a cheap jury-rigged solution. A Sony Bloggie with a swiveling lens Velcro'd in place of my breath diverter. It's fully zoomed out and has a standard viewing angle, but most helmet cams use a fish-eye lens to increase the angle by at least 50% which makes angle adjustment a non-issue. My camera also produces optical illusions of being much further forward and going over the DY and other undesirable effects. I'll invest in a better solution some day.

I ride nearly daily.

@SoftDrinkPksU That sucks, but I hear in Arizona with all the camera tickets people drive exactly the speed limit everywhere -- what a bunch of sheep! Those cameras have nothing to do with safety -- it is all about a bunch of conservative do-gooders paired up with money-hungry politicians.

@cmann018 Yeah, all in all it was fun. Because of Friday the 13th and all the little bad things that happened, it seemed like a natural theme. Luckily nothing *really* bad happened.

The thumbnail just happened to be your half-face :) you may know that the uploader has little control of what the thumbnail is. I could have chosen from two other very bad choices, but I left it as the first one YouTube generated.

Like this video... I was on the Repsol ;) Was a fun trip even with the bad omens. And I did come down from Oregon not long ago.
