i was there, up until i saw the wall tonight, it was the best concert i had ever been to. As for the stuff up, at the time not everyone knew what had happened and the look on Snowy's face was like even he was surprised at what happened. I can forgive him, but it did ruin the build up, but it did make me appreciate just how awesome the original really is or was to create such a moment to be disappointing when its stuffed up!
He is Snowy White, he himself is an icon as a guitarist and close freind of Guilmour, watch him playing in "wal on the wall" live in Berlin playing "comfortably numb" with Jeff Beck. for these reasons possiblly we can forgive him for this mistake.
I went to the one in Philadelphia. And there were no screw ups in music or even in Rogers voice. He sounded great. I just didnt like Gilmours "stand in" But Rogers voice sounded fresh when he was in Philly. Ya gotta give the guy credit though. He hasnt been on stage in years, singing these songs. Gilmour hasnt left the stage since Roger left, so of course his voice is more in shape. Probably by the time Roger got half way through the tour his vocals started fading.
I don't know about that, have you heard his horrid attempts at singing Rogers material? I love Gilmours instrumental skills, but his post waters vocals and songwriting are weak.

Great instrumentation and the addition of new layers is awesome, but Gilmour would've done MUCH better on the vocals...

Gilmour wouldn't have messed up that begining guitar part. That f-ed up the whole performance.
